We are offering a FREE WORKSHOP sponsored by The Grove Hall Trust. Join Lisa and Liz in a conversations about death. It should not be avoided; they should be encouraged. Engaging in dialogue about mortality allows us to explore our beliefs and attitudes toward death and dying. This workshop aims to get participants comfortable with these discussions, fostering an environment where individuals can reflect on their values surrounding end-of-life care, rituals, and what it means to experience loss.

Unveiling the Shroud: A Restorative Justice Approach to Conversations about Death & Dying 

In our contemporary society, the topic of death is often shunned, cloaked in a veil of discomfort that discourages open dialogue. The avoidance has led to systemic issues, particularly in how we engage with the rituals surrounding death and dying. This conditioning limits not only our ability to confront our own mortality but also our capacity to celebrate life and death in a more meaningful way. The workshop "Unveiling the Shroud" aims to shine a light on these challenges, exploring the conditioning that pushes us toward silence while simultaneously tethering us to a capitalist framework.
